"Pretty easy way to pick seats"
I used cineplex to pick seats for a movie, it was smooth overall. I liked being able to see which seats were already taken, so we could grab a decent spot before even getting there. The seat map did load a little slowly for me once, so yeah, not perfect, but it worked fine in the end. Definitely makes booking with friends a lot less annoying.

"Closed the Tab Before Buying"
I went to book two movie tickets and just closed the tab. The price was already way too high before even adding snacks or whatever extra fees pop up. Like, come on, a regular night at the movies shouldn’t feel like I’m making some big expensive purchase. Cineplex used to feel like an easy night out, but now it just feels overpriced for what it is

"Cineplex login was a total headache"
I tried getting into my Cineplex account today and it just kept sending me in circles. The password reset email took forever to show up, and even after I changed it, the new password still didnt work. I checked my email, tried a different browser, and even used my phone, but it was the same thing every time. No real error message or anything, just back to the login page like nothing happened. Frustrating when all I wanted to do was buy tickets and use my points. Support wasnt much help either, so I eventually just gave up.

Booking on cineplex.com was easy overall, but the payment part was a little annoying lol. My card went through fine, so no major issue there, but I really wish they had more options like PayPal or better wallet choices. It just took longer than I expected and felt kind of clunky. Not a terrible experience, just not as smooth as buying movie tickets online should be.

"Good for checking deals, though not always easy to tell"
I mostly use cineplex to look up movie times and see what promos are happening. From what I’ve seen, the discounts can be decent, especially for combo deals or when there’s some points offer going on. I can’t say I’ve checked every location or every promo, but sometimes the deals seem a bit hard to find or don’t apply where I’m going, which is kind of annoying. Still, I’ve managed to save a few bucks here and there, so I’d give it 4 stars

I booked tickets on cineplex and somehow picked the wrong time without noticing. I’m not sure if I missed an option somewhere, but trying to exchange or refund them was way more confusing than I expected. The refund info wasn’t really clear, and customer support took quite a while to get back to me. Someone did eventually help, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but the whole process felt a bit messy. The site is fine for booking, but they really need to make refunds and changes easier.

The whole experience was frustrating. I felt like I was being ignored most of the time, and the staff seemed annoyed whenever I had a question. What made it worse was that I was charged, but I never really got any update or explanation about what was going on

Overall, it’s easy enough to use and I didn’t have any major issues figuring things out. That said, some pages do take a while to load occasionally, which can be a little frustrating. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something that could be improved

I had a problem with my booking so I emailed support hoping they could sort it out. They did eventually reply a few days later, but by then the movie had already passed. They were polite and all, but not very helpful when you need something fixed Quickly

"Nothing Like Fighting an App Just to Buy Movie Tickets"
Tried using the cineplex app to grab some movie tickets, and wow, what an adventure. It was painfully slow, kept freezing while I was picking seats, and I had to restart it twice because apparently choosing where to sit is too much to ask. Then, after all that, the payment failed anyway. Super fun. I ended up just using the website, which worked fine. Annoying when all you want to do is buy tickets, not complete a survival challenge.

Went there and the scanner fails twice, which was annoying. The staff make us wait outside the whole time, so it wasn’t a great experience

I bought movie tickets on cineplex and the checkout went through fine. The payment page hung for a few seconds, which was a little annoying, but it didn’t crash or charge me twice. I got the confirmation email right away too. Overall it felt reliable, but the slow loading seems preventable and I wish the pages were a bit quicker

I tried using my Scene+ rewards on cineplex.com, and it was frustrating. My points were showing in my account, so I figured it would be a quick checkout, but the site kept glitching and wouldn’t apply them properly. That kind of stuff really gets annoying when you know the rewards are there but you still can’t use them. I reached out for help too, but the response was slow, which just made the whole experience feel even more irritating

"Ugh, the theatre felt really dirty"
I sat down and immediately thought, nope, this is not it. The seats were sticky and dirty, and I just couldn’t get comfortable. The whole time I was kind of wondering when they last cleaned the place.

"Movie was good, seats… not so much 😕"
Went to Cineplex last weekend and the movie itself was totally fine, but the seats kind of ruined it for me. They felt old and stiff, and after about 40 minutes my back was already sore 😬 There also wasn’t much leg room, especially once someone sat in front of me. For what tickets cost these days, I definitely expected the seats to be more comfortable. I’d probably go back, but only if they update the seating.
